Trump always had a 5th Amendment right to not testify. The only question was whether he would pay a political price to take the 5th and whether Mueller would break norms against dragging him for that. Which isn’t a great argument to make for Team Nothing Matters.

i mean, it’s one of the most segregated cities in the country. your life expectancy is 10yrs shorter if you were born in north tulsa than if you were born in south tulsa. like 1 in 11 or so people in the state are felons. so we all know what he means by “lowlife” community

Wait, why did Mueller allow Barr to get away with sealing this when it should have been presented front and center? Have come around to the conclusion that Mueller was not incompetent but rather he was actively in on the coverup.
Because that’s what the law required. It’s one of the ways Congress nerfed the old independent council law.
Mueller testified before Congress and sure Ds gave him every opportunity to call out our thug AG for actively covering up Trump’s blatant perjury. In fact, seems almost impossible to me that Mueller avoided committing perjury himself in failing to blow the whistle on this criminality in response to D questioning.

Mueller was definitely a lifelong right wing bureaucrat who never had any interest in doing the right thing, but to just look like he was doing the right thing.
If he stood in front of me and started defending his investigation I would kick him in the shin.
