I think you’re giving him too much credit for reasoning here. At this point I’m 99% sure he’s just reacting to things. The Chinese didn’t capitulate to his latest round of bullying so he levied more tariffs. That made the stock market go down so he pushed the tariffs out to December… Probably after his family got long the SPX.
I really want to see the trades that Trump Inc has been making over the last 2.5 years. I feel like there’s zero chance they aren’t front running the patriarchs tweets.
If you are ascribing rationality, reason, planning, strategy, or even basic thought to a trump action you are making a (at this point) unforgivable error.
