The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: ORANGE Gettin' PEACHed, Nation Goes BANANAS

Gobsmacked :open_mouth:

tomorrow morning heā€™s gonna wake up like, ā€œi donā€™t think i expressed myself clearly last night. iā€™ll just tweet out ā€œsnitches get stitchesā€ and hopefully the whistleblower will retract the report and theyā€™ll be done with this impeachment businessā€

Maddow is trash. She could literally tell me that the sky is blue and water wet to which Iā€™d shrug.

I just saw a coalition against Nancy Pelosiā€™s socialized medicine commercial. What in the actual fuck?

She doesnā€™t do it for you, huh?

Thatā€™s boring. wtf is your incredulity about? bless your heart. @ corvette

Apparently a local Wisconsin spice company is outapending Steyer on impeachment advertising on Facebook. Gjge Steyer.

An interesting look back on Turkey, Erdogan, and Trumpā€™s model for his economic strategy, from an August 2018 episode of The Daily on the economic cost of authoritarianism.

This is very true. That he constantly gets away with crimes by just doing them in public is the most tilting part.

That is the weird part. They keep attacking the whistleblower like they are relevant. The whistleblower could vanish tomorrow and it would not change the evidence at all.

I guess this could go in any number of threads, but I consider it yet another strategic failing of the Democrats that nothing was done in the House about what weā€™re doing to the Kurds. They should have passed a resolution within 24 hours of him announcing the decision to condemn it and call upon him to reverse course, or even passed a narrow declaration of war to protect the Kurds or a congressional-executive treaty requiring us to defend the Kurds from Turkish aggression.

Best case scenario: it leads to some sort of action that protects the Kurds.

Worst case scenario: it puts Senate Republicans to a tough vote where they have to either go firmly on the record crossing Trump or turn their backs on an ally, and it drives a wedge through the party one way or another.

They should condemn Turkey, but for some reason our government is so afraid of Turkey that they can barely recognize when they killed 1.5 million Armenians.

Thatā€™s at a bare minimum, but thatā€™s kind of like pointing at a fire and yelling ā€œFire!ā€ when youā€™re a cop and thereā€™s a huge unattended fire hose next to you and the arsonist is running away. They have better tools than just calling out Turkey, and they should be using the strongest ones, and theyā€™re doing nothing. Pick up the hose and turn it on, chase down the arsonist, call it in to dispatch, ANYTHING!

Iā€™m just so fucking sick of eDems and Republicans expressing the urgency of problems and their deep concern over them while standing on the sidelines twiddling their thumbs.

She is the M Knight Shamalan of politics. She is amazing if you arenā€™t aware of her sleight but once you I knew her schtick the connections she makes are much less trustworthy. MSNBC in general is total trash. They are owned by NBC Comcast (LDO) and never take any position contrary to their interest. They are the American version of RT. When has RT ever ran one story slightly critical of Russia? Maybe you could find one if you reallllly tried, but its aside of the point if there have only been 2 stories lifetime for the network.

Thom Hartmann used to broadcast on RT and criticized Putin/Russia all the time. Yes ā€œused toā€, but I think he left and he said they never complained about content.

I like Rachel, but thereā€™s a ton of stuff that she just doesnā€™t talk about. Her Overton window is tiny.
