I wonât further derail the thread on the matter. There is a key difference in that it is important to be factually correct on any matter dealing with Trump lest more fuel be added to the fire of innuendo and misinformation.
I will make some time later to post the links with the relevant stories in the Trumpâs America thread.
Also, thank you to all the key contributors to this thread. It serves as an invaluable source of information for me and I greatly appreciate it.

To my knowledge, the Central Park 5 were exonerated by DNA evidence. Unless anyone presents well sourced information disputing that, Iâll be deleting the conspiracy theory posts.

I havenât listened to him speak in over a year besides random snipets when I canât mute my tv fast enough. Has done wonders for my sanity. Reading transcripts of his rambling, trying to figure out what the hell hes talking about is more fun anyway.

Worth emphasising, given Trumpâs ludicrous statements, that the US has not withdrawn from Syria. At the moment they have simply re-deployed so as to enable the Turkish action. This isnât even the US washing its hands of the situation.

As I understand it, he had actually mandated (not ordered, just indicated this must happen) that troops be removed a while back, but then he got distracted and the people in charge of maintaining forces there hoped as long as they didnât bring it up, he would forget they exist. Welp.
I doubt Iâd be any less incensed if Trump started making moral declarations, but for him to be like âwell, if they donât handle this well, theyâll face economic consequences,â with no mention of this being a moral wrong and an ethical injustice is maddening. Maybe itâs for the best that his money=morality worldview is so transparent, though itâs possibly more accurate to describe him as amoral rather than immoral.
