Honestly with the polls the way they are I think Nancy is holding back on a full impeachment vote to protect biden from getting slandered/attacked and not a couple of vulnerable house members.

There are only 35 more days total they are in session this year for the house and 40 for the senate. If they are going to do something before next year it needs to happen quickly.
If Nancy is strategically holding back itās probably because she wants to save peak outrage for the election.
I feel like the general consensus here is that dragging this out too long will cause people to become disinterested. You canāt really act like Trump is this crazy threat to national security and drag your feet.
With Americans attention spans thats probably the correct take.

The delay strategy may be right - there are sure to be all kinds of even more egregious abuses that will keep coming out. Itās not a terrible move to slow walk impeachment and let the implosion continue, politically.

I hadnāt thought about it like that. Thatās such a tightrope to walk. Yeah, if you slow walk, you can stoke the fires of resentment until theyāre ready to EXPLODE once impeachment truly begins. But if you wait too long, resentment turns to apathy.
