I believe he’s referring to when they held competing rallies in February. Beto got 8,000 according to law enforcement estimates, but Trump declared that Beto got 900.
We don’t know how many Trump got, but he claimed 10,000 inside and 25,000 outside for 35,000 total. His campaign manager claimed 8,000 inside and 35,000 total. The fire department said 6,500 were there and the legal capacity is 5,200 seats - but more for concerts and rallies with standing room sections.
So my best guess would be that Beto got 8,000 and Trump got 6,500. Obviously the numbers Trump claimed were BS as usual.
This is the rally that Trump’s campagin still owes El Paso $470,000 plus another $100,000 in late fees for.
