The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: ORANGE Gettin' PEACHed, Nation Goes BANANAS

Wat? I mean, maybe nothing matters but the report is cut and dry abuse of office if it can be corroborated.

One part I found interesting is that the report says this is not the first time they move non-sensitive information to the classified service, and that this has been done routinely to cover potential politically damaging information. I think an investigation into that may turn out a lot more dirt than just the Ukraine thing.

It would be full-blown karma to the GOP if a server is what ends Trumpā€™s presidency.

Fair enough. I donā€™t know. As someone who obviously despises trump and thinks he has committed impeachable offenses essentially every day since he took office, this just really rings kind of hollow to me.

But, I recognize that Iā€™ve been extremely pessimistic about everything having to do with impeachment and so Iā€™ll bow out of this conversation for a bit. I donā€™t particularly enjoy feeling like a wet blanket all the time

I believe so. As I saw it reported, the transcript was made in real time by multiple people and the call was not recorded. They then compared notes and came up with an agreed-upon transcript. Since the call could not be played back, it is not a necessarily a verbatim transcript.

It was a 30 minute call. There is a looooooot missing.

Imagine being Devin Nunes. Like I legitimately feel like a bad person when I donā€™t pick up dog poop or donā€™t have cash to tip the valet. How do these monsters sleep at night?

I genuinely hope youā€™re right, but Iā€™m so jaded that Iā€™m in ā€œIā€™ll believe it when I see itā€ mode when it comes to Trump facing consequences for anything.

I think heā€™ll definitely be impeached in the House, which is nice I guess.

Itā€™s the coverup. Coverups spread like a virus, multiplying and metastasizing a number of individuals. Some of whom will NOT be willing to go down with the ship. As the rope tightens, multiple folks will act in their own self interest and testify against the others.

From a crime perspective, the crime is worse than the coverup but from a liability and exposure standpoint itā€™s the cover up.

Love the karmic justice of improper server abuse.

What gives me hope for removal is that itā€™s a stone cold lock heā€™s done equally bad or worse stuff, daily.

He just casually does the crimes with a dozen people on the phone? Thatā€™s not a guy who is being careful, ever. ā€œTalk to my AG about it?ā€ Said AG is also doing all the crimes, likely in plain sight of career people who arenā€™t cool with it.

Trump is Aaron Hernandez on the night Odin Lloyd died. Totally out of control.

Releasing the transcript of the conversation in full is an odd coverup, no?

My honest opinion is that yesterdayā€™s transcript sounded like a mob boss (as if you jumped into episode 5 of the Sopranos watching Tony shake someone down), and the complaint gave the context (a summary of the first 4 Soprano episodes you missed). Think the wrongdoing is obvious to everyone though no doubt their will be a concentrated effort to excuse the mob boss because like Tony, Trump is their loveable mob boss as far as Rs are concerned.

FYI, the key new information in the complaint is that it says that a shitload of Trump officials understood the shakedown and explained it to the whistleblower. The first question they should ask the whistleblower when he/she testifies is who these individuals are.

Yeah he sounds like a mob boss. And 40% of the country, plus the senate, and all the courts, are his soldatos. Heā€™s not going to go down for committing crimes. They donā€™t care about that. It will take something else, like the economy going bad, for his own mob to turn against him. It could happen, but I donā€™t see this as that thing.

Seems like they were putting a lot of trust in Ukraine to pull off this phony investigation and then to stand by it under what would have been tremendous media pressure and scrutiny. Iā€™m guessing Ukraineā€™s President is breathing a major sigh of relief that the heat is off of him now.

That was not the ā€œtranscript of the conversation in fullā€.

Is there another transcript? Iā€™ve seen it reported that there is not, do you see other reporting to the contrary?

That was not the ā€œtranscript of the conversation in fullā€

maybe the emphasis needs changing ā€¦

That was not the transcript of the "conversation in fullā€

It was also after the contents had been leaked to the public and Pelosi announced she was ready to impeach because of the cover-up.

Remember that SenorKeed greatly admires Tucker Carlson for his trolling ability. Getting a rise out of liberals as Rs cover for obvious wrongdoing is something Keed aspires to.
