Ehh, I think the long term result is gonna be GOP will be rural and the Dems will leave them alone. Pretty much like now but more extreme. I just donât see a bunch of rural GOPâers planning an assault on a liberal city. And I donât see Libs giving a fuck about people out in the sticks.

That race was .4 in 2018 but obviously significantly more total votes than this special electionâs 2.2 or so result. In other words, who fâing knows what this means for 2020.

I find it mildly amusing at this point that my opinion that Trump will go for a third term if he wins is outside the mainstream and gets me smirked at by âreasonable centrists.â (Of course those reasonable centrists donât pay much attention to politics.)
Like, as a country, we basically deserve whatever we get. If we get less than three terms of Trump, we got off easy. Itâs a shame for those of us who are engaged and who have empathy and want whatâs best for most Americans, but the majority of our country is so apathetic, our democracy was ripe for the taking.
