That marker is probably dry as a bone after about three words.
Prestwick isn’t an unusual stop at all (Trump Turnberry would be an unusual overnight though obviously). The only reason Prestwick is still a functioning airport (passenger numbers have been declining) is that it is rarely fogbound and therefore a strategic resource. There was controversy over rendition refueling stops a few years ago.
