I think they could have ended up doing terrible things. I just am starting to waver that there was an organized catch and kill team using the mob as cover.
Taking a deeper dive into this thread is pretty incredible. If I had to bet right now my money would be on elected officials (Pelosi/Pence/Schumer/AOC/etc) were in serious danger of being killed Wednesday. Just the thought of hostages being taken and marched out to the gallows for “public trial” is fucking terrifying.

I know hard to keep all the crazy people straight when they had powell up for a press conf, disavowed her, then trump staff spent a lot of time trying to keep her out of the white house cause trump kept wanting to talk to her 1 on 1 and also wood/powell did their own kraken press conference with a few other georgia R’s
and yes trump repeatedly praised him but he wasn’t straight up trump’s lawyer those are ellis/guliani the others he flirted with because they kept telling him he could win if only he did X, when he couldn’t do X but if he tried to do X it would cause a huge clusterfuck so trump aides so far, have stopped all of that.
