I think it was Dersh who actually made that argument, but I have no doubt Barr is on the bandwagon.
Anything is “legal” at this point since nobody will oppose anything.

By the way, the high level play if you know you’re going to lose is to just have all the red states follow the order to cancel the election, and lose like 280-0 in electoral votes, then call it rigged/a sham. A LOT of the public will fall for it. Then say the Democrats wouldn’t let the Republicans vote ANYWHERE in the country, they even blocked it in good ol’ Texas!
That can sow enough confusion to pull it off. Then take it to the Supreme Court, and hope to win 5-4. Reschedule a new election for like March, and rig the fuck out of it.
Or just rig the fuck out of the first one, which is what they’re going to try to do.
