Trump could have just pardoned this flynn guy right? And it would all have been nice and legal and observing norms that lawbros love so much?
Heās wanted to pardon Flynn for two years but was worried about PR when any 2020 win would be razor thin.
Frankly, I assumed a Flynn pardon around Nov 15 was a lock, win or lose. This may be the worst option for Trump.

Iām torn about what to do in cases like this, we need to celebrate people who risk their jobs to resist, but then again look at what job this guy was willing to do in the first place.

Id usually do a think about it Gif here, but Iāll write it insteadā¦ Iāve been saying since Trump got elected that the only person who has a chance (50/50 if he has the goods on Trump, which he does not, due to Randy Corsiās notes about Wiki) of getting a pardon is Rodger Stone, Iām still pretty confident on that.
Itās because heās a selfish prick and a coward to face up to anything/anyone he got in trouble, he wonāt admit that ever.
The thing with Uncle Blazer is that heās not always wrong, but heās occasionally very wrong.
Also, Iām not claiming Baar is doing it to prevent Flynn from flipping. I think Barr is doing it because heās insane. (Baar, that is, though Flynn is also insane).

Mass resignations would be terrible and Barr, etc. would love it. Could quickly bring in plenty of super conservative young prosecutors. And once theyāve been hired it would be very hard to get them out.
Btw, worth remembering that Trumpās valet tested positive. Like maybe Trump also has it but hasnāt developed sufficient antibodies to test positive yet. One time!
(Maybe Melania has it, maybe Barron, maybe the whole west wing. Trumpās gotta be freaking out. He canāt dodge every wrench the universe throws at him.)
