Joe Biden actually has like a three-point plan to combat the coronavirus that will play well in the Midwest but you’re never going to hear about it on ads because for the DemE, giving people a reason to vote for your guy is like sunlight to a vampire. Meanwhile Trump is sending out Trump Checks to everyone with his signature proudly displayed.

One thing about the flu is that they cherry-picked the worst year to make it seem even worse than it is. Yah, it killed 60k in the highest year, but one year it was only 12k and most years around 30-40k.

And obviously it isn’t remotely comparable to COVID, which killed that # in one month even under lockdown conditions.

Trump has to see covid19 as a positive for his chances at reelection.

He’s pinning it on the Chinese and Democrats and he’s stated multiple times that he fears that more people voting means that he’s less likely to win.

I know I’m doing that thing where I’m claiming that somebody who appears to randomly push buttons actually plans things, but this seems like a plan.

There’s no doubt in my mind that he’d be willing to kill millions of Americans to stay in power. It’s what (wannabe) dictators do.

Well he’s (or the GOP anyway) absolutely planning on pinning it on Chiner, I’ve been getting the emails from my local party conspiracy wonks about that since late March. That’s been the plan all along. I assume the economic damage will be pinned on the coward Dems for not reopening fast enough, or for closing in the first place.
