I remember being a member of his website’s forum a while back and it became deplorable central when Trump announced his run. It was basically Bizarro 2p2 Politics. Eventually, it was shut down by Dan as they really didn’t even discuss anything related to his shows. It was pretty much a breeding ground for deplorables.

And the deplorables on that forum were way out of control. Hell even the off shoot forum is really bad. It would probably be a super bad look if someone reported that Joe Rogan has a forum where people talk about genocide regularly, hanging black people etc.
Same reason as us. Because you can fulfill your need for socialisation in the lowest stakes way possible. You can take it or leave it at any time. There are zero obligations on you and it’s easy to quit if there’s the slightest complication. If you’re the kind of person that is drawn to cuck, incel etc narrative you need the kiddy pool of social interaction.
