I donât believe she thinks that. She counts on Trumpâs base being to ignorant to know what 19 means here. It doesnât matter if every single Democrat sees through it. As long as she can convince some Trump supporters to not blame him she has done her job. There is also the added benefit of proving to Trump she is a loyal foot soldier willing to say anything for his benefit.

Right, we should be pushing in the other direction on this, ie allow more things to be done remotely. We are so lucky to live at a time when we can do so much stuff from the safety of our home.

They want to restart so they can get to the work of handouts for their business masters while avoiding giving any more to the working class. This is the objective needle they are trying to thread.
If they can force people back to work then they donât have to send out any more stimulus money and then they can attend to the serious business of making huge companies whole.
