Remember, Trump actually thinks he has a great brain and he really gets this stuff. He said he knows more than the generals about military shit, so why wouldnāt he know more than the doctors about medical shit? And the people around him all tell him they agree with him!
Trump is a thin-skinned coward and a bully. If he already told you the drug is great and you should take it, and then you ask somebody else about it right in front of him, heās going to perceive that as an insult. Heās the damn president, heās the only expert you need!
Many people with power think they got that power because they are smart. Any sane person who hears that fucking Jared is ādoing his own virus projectionsā should rightfully piss themselves laughing and then piss themselves again from sheer terror.

I disagree on both counts. I think Bush was a bit smarter. But thatās subjective and hard to prove.
As far as the coherence is concerned. He is conveying pretty much the exact message that he wants to. Iām sure to you he appears unhinged, but Iām certain that to deplorables and low info voters heās someone who is working hard, taking it seriously, and getting asked āwise-guyā question for his troubles.
If these people didnāt view Trump through a different lens than you do/did, we wouldnāt be in this situation.

The difference between her and Fauci is night and day. I think Fauci has demonstrated the maximum lack of spinelessess one can have and not get shit-canned by Trump. Iām amazed every day that he is still there.

I didnāt watch but Trump called this thing to crow about how things look good at this instant in time. Of course if it turns out weāre in the eye of the storm then nm better luck next time, suckers!
It might be justified if people like Fauci were planning an October surprise where they all rage-quit close to the election and spill the beans on their personal experiences of just how bad Trump is.

Is this whole hyroxychloroquine thing any more Trump hearing āthereās no drugs than can treat this!ā and him being such a psychopath he wants credit for a miracle cure or will tell everyone anything they want to hear including that Trump alone can fix and since he canāt stand any criticism as soon as he heard any negative feedback heās gonna ride this bullshit train to the end of the earth because he canāt help himself.
Part of it is him not understanding Fauci when he tells him not to rely on a couple tiny studies with no control groups.

I was pondering this today and I definitely think part of him thinks if he really pushes this and it works he will get all the credit and glory and re-elected for six more terms.
His brain doesnāt allow him to consider the downside and the danger that could kill people. It is entirely a hero play.

Really making it fucking hard to earnestly root for hydroxychloroquine to actually be an effective treatment. I hope it is, but itās going to come at the price of wanting to stab myself through the temple with a pencil when I read online takes for the next six months.
