The rules say any senator can do what Schumer did Tuesday but senators typically don’t take these extreme steps because doing so regularly would shut down the Senate.
What the fuck kind of government is this? All this time any senator could call a vote on any bill? WTF? Seriously. What a disgraceful way to run a country. Again, every dem in the senate should be calling for a vote every day on the house passed stimulus package.
