The thing is, we’ve already seen massive amounts of evidence that the range of outcomes with COVID-19 is huge. So I don’t see how faking that he has it, in order to fake a recovery, would really change any minds in the electorate. As mentioned, there’s a big range of outcomes for him now. Anything from no symptoms at all, to dead within a few weeks.
