I almost posted this in one of the movie/streaming threads, but I think it’s just too politically volatile a topic, which is probably why they decided to cancel the whole thing anyway. I can’t help but wonder what would have become of this in an alternate reality where Trump lost and the show premiered.
(Note, this happened in December 2019 shortly after Trump won)

I agree with @nunnehi about something. The end is nigh. As I’ve recently said, the progressive caucus can grow a lot of power in a few election cycle and AOC is well-positioned in that regard and strategizing well.
This is definitely not true for many of them. I grew up around a lot these single issue voters, many are not at all deplorable on matters of race or most bigotry. Gay rights are often an exception.
Many obviously are as you described.
Or it’s the other way around because they’re easy political marks.
