The Ginger C(h)at LC Thread for Sundry Chatchitting

Toei Animation should start making really crappy anime versions of popular live-action Netflix shows.

We have a specific strategy

We always split. Wife window, me aisle. Hoping to secure the spare seat

If we get someone in the middle we offer them the choice of aisle or window, people always are happy to swap

Then if the other person is female, Mrs Rugby gets the middle to sit next to them. If it’s a guy I have to get the middle.

we run pretty good tho

I took that to be a sensible randomising strategy.

i ended up on a transoceanic flight in between a married couple. they didn’t offer to switch at all, so y’all are the worst.

due to my positioning i was treated to a good view of what they were doing on their electronic devices the entire flight. they turned out to be christian trmpists and biz owners distributing cheap shit souvenirs to tourist traps. the fact that they ended up in economy+ and not first class despite their status was fiercely chaffing them. i spent half the flight knowing that through no fault of my own, i saw their work email password and they would deserve all the consequences if i didn’t delete it from memory.

It’s more so Mrs Rugby doesn’t have to sit next to a random guy and feel anxiety about it.

That’s why I used the word sensible. Didn’t want to make too many presumptions tho’.

I’m watching Hard Days Night as one does and man this grandpa character is bringing the ruckus in a way that I was not expecting.

Yikes

Why do all the crazy people live in San Diego? jesus

The most incredible part of this to me is that to have a house like that in San Diego the guy must be insanely wealthy on top of being a complete loon.

don’t let the cat out of the house then, wtf

The argument could be made that I stole my first cat from my neighbor. My defense is that they didn’t let her into their house, I saved her from a coyote, and she started spending more of her time at our place anyway. I regret nothing.

I feel it is appropriate here to mention that no one owns a cat

Was just about to say you must respect the cat’s autonomy. If they choose to spend their time elsewhere, a cat does as a cat wishes.
