Those were both baked in before the election.
There was basically no path to the Dems retaining the House. Senate is gone people were too pessimistic, but House was never happening.
The path to holding the House was NY and CA Dems doing what was necessary to ditch nonpartisan redistricting and getting the gerrymander done.
That ship sailed in both states years ago.
