Its a technique for drawing money out of political donations: politician writes “book” that is just 300 pages of Argle Bargle, donation funded PAC buys 100,000 copies for I dunno political stuff, publisher and politician split the funds, PAC tosses books in dumpster.
Such an easy grift too with digital book sales. Don’t even have to manufacture that many copies.
