anchor: donald trump claims dominion switched votes. that’s a bold statement. what do you think about that?
guest: it is a very strong and powerful statement, and if the facts are true, he’s 100% right for saying it and everyone saying anything different is a whiny baby, i’m not a baby.
anchor: is it possible that those facts could be true?
I feel this is very good news. R Congressman are falling in line with Trump (for the most part) right now not only because they fear the base, but also because they really lose nothing by doing so. However, if Ivanka is going after Rubio’s seat (and Laura is going after the NC seat) it completely changes the dynamic. I think you’re going to see Republicans (Senators especially) start to push back against the Trump clan if they see the possibility of a personal loss from continuing to prop up Trump’s popularity.
Really just need to convince Jr. to move to Texas.
The argument is absurd on its face, it gives the President a literal freeroll to do ANYTHING in the lame duck period.
Its basically the emoluments thing for everything. “You can’t touch me, I’m President” followed instantly by “You can’t touch me, I’m not President anymore.”
I think the disclaimer probably protects them. The last two lines are broad statements of opinion and don’t implicate Dominion, Smartmatic, or anyone else.
Not sure there is an editorial issue, since they sold Lindell the airtime, after which I assume the contract says he’s free to do with it what he wants.
Lindell definitely going to get sued for this though.
I don’t know how it works in the US but if ITV (say), a commercial channel in the UK, sold someone a block of time to do whatever the buyer wanted I’m pretty sure ITV would be jointly liable for whatever was broadcast.
