The Final Debate: Biden v Trump the Shitshow wrapped in a clusterfuck having sex with a goatshow inside a dumpster fire

It’s new to a lot of people. For sure. They don’t pay attention 47 out of 48 months.

Karl Rove: Ok, they both interrupted each other. What got me was when Biden started name-calling.

I think that was a slip of the tongue and he meant to say the “Biden plan” would pay for itself

Karl Rove on Fox saying it was a draw. GOOD NEWS for Joe Biden. (I think Rove is roughly correct).

I’ll be honest, and this will probably be my last post on this. I’m not an average person or undecided voter. I despise Trump and will vote Biden, but I also supported Bernie and think Biden sucks. This debate was an absolute loss for Biden in my eyes because what I wanted to see was a coherent individual and he didn’t live up to that. I’ll still vote for him, and I’m glad to see that the general public seems to think this was bad for Trump, but this debate drastically reduced my hope for our current best-case-scenario and I can’t imagine that being a good thing. We’re so fucked.

You all are welcome to celebrate this, and I truly wish I had your optimism, but I don’t. Joe Biden publicly disowned (no surprises here, we already knew this) defunding the police, a green new deal, and protests in the event of election shenanigans. He said ACB was a fine person. He reiterated that he opposes universal Healthcare. He also came off as a half-dementiaed senile old man who just happened to be nicer than the complete piece of shit on the other side of the stage. That’s our great hope right now. We’re so fucked.

I do think he’ll be better the next debate. I’m sure they prepared for a bully but nothing could prepare them for the disgrace that was Trump. From following the thread it felt like Biden found his footing a bit as it went on.

Agreed. The first fifteen minutes were discouraging but it got better

And then he explicitly said he didn’t support it 🤷

I seriously don’t get what you guys expected. Throughout the primary debates Biden looked like a man who is only there because he was promised free pancakes. No one should have expected a takedown, we just needed him to stay on both feet and not drool too much.

I don’t think he meant to say that. I believe he wanted to say the Biden plan will pay for itself but he couldn’t correct himself because of the dementia talk.

Even Rick Santorum is saying Trump overplayed his hand. So maybe it was ok.

Biggest takeaway was telling the neonazis to “Stand down and stand by”. That was intentional and terrifying.

I’m sure I’m ponied but I cant keep up so just in case:

“That was a hot mess inside a dumpster fire inside a trainwreck.”

It was a draw like if I fought Mike Tyson in his prime.

I like Joe and I’m pleased with his performance. He knows he deteriorating but he did well for what he has left, imo

He can never walk off. That looks terrible. The pundits will say if he can’t take that how is he going to stand up to Kim Jong-Un, Putin, Xi etc.

Agree with what seems to be the consensus here. Biden looked toast for the first ~15 minutes but kept it together and didn’t have a complete collapse, which is a win for him.
