Wouldn’t Dominion machines not working help R’s if we follow the “logic” of the last 8 weeks?

illusionist chris angel swapped the insides of the voting machines with mashed potatoes in multiple republican strongholds. MINDFREAK

Only Ben Carson remains on the “Black Friends List.”

I thought he was dead

So basically Tim Scott and other Republicans are saying if it was constitutionally viable, they would happily overrule the people in order to keep Emperor Trump in power.

I think it is very clear at this point that Elected Republicans and those who vote for them are 100% on board for authoritarianism/dictatorship. They’re showing their appetite for it at every level, and they will keep working towards making it a reality.

well it’s only some elected republicans but yes their voters are which has put some of them in a bind now that the dam broke

I mean, if the Constitution called for the president to be appointed by congress rather than electors, of course he would vote for the Republican and not the Democrat.

Yes? I don’t disagree at all. Certainly not what I was saying though.

For their theory to work, Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats would have to elect Donald Trump president rather than Joe Biden. That it is not going to happen, not today or any other day.

So, he seems to be saying he’d go along with it if Republicans controlled the House.

Isn’t the scenario where it gets thrown to the house the one where each state gets 1 house so Republicans would actually have the majority?

Or in this " objection " Nancy and the house do a straight vote and would have to agree to toss the electors?

The senate/house have to agree to remove electoral votes, and only if they did and the count for Joe dropped under 270 would it go to the house vote.

Ok. What happens theoretically if Pence does decide to like reject the electors or w/e? I don’t think he will, just wondering what these idiots are hoping for?

Last I saw it was a legal grey area where they would hope the supreme court would rule in their favor if he actually could do that, then what? Does it go to the house then?

last I read, hoping he sends them back and have the state legislatures decide which ones count

the other one is he can just decide which ones count himself because “muh constitution says” when it probably doesn’t but they dgaf

edit–first one isn’t a thing because they don’t have dueling sets of electors lolol

Then the Underpants Gnomes decide the election.

i think if he tries to just 1 man it, then Mitch/Pelosi probably have him removed somehow and it goes on I dunno. I’d be worried if Mitch was backing this but I think Mitch will take care of Pence, lol me

basically, republicans will grandstand, at least arizona/georgia/pennsylvania get objected, they grandstand some more, biden wins at 2 am
