Pence has probably soft-pedaled the whole thing enough that Trump doesn’t know whether to be angry with him yet.

If and when he executes his duties on 1/6 in the way that the law demands, he’s definitely getting both barrels.

Yeah I don’t disagree. If he has sold his soul this far to try to become President (which I don’t think he has almost any chance of no matter how he plays this), what’s one more declaration of war against the Constitution?

Very possible to me that he’ll just skip it and have the next-in-command carry it out, then try to frame it as a righteous boycott.
