speaking of local stuff, for some reason i got an itch for some seltzers on the 4th. these were all right. i guess not as satisfying as i imagined but you could drink worse.
Not really that time of year but fuck it. A cuvée from Revolution and they keep up the good work here. It’s almost a little too sweet for me, but there’s enough barrel in there to keep my palette from shutting down. The far far far back end is sweet burnt caramel. It’s really well made and another on their long list of beers to be proud of.
Without a doubt, Treehouse is the coolest brewery I’ve ever been to.
Have you already purchased cans?
Yeah we bought online prior to coming here.
Looking at their can list a bit…
Queen Machine - did you get any of that? It looks like a riff on Juice Machine, which is one of their original GOAT beers.
Not that you can really go wrong with anything you bought. It’s all fire.
I bought the 24 can variety pack. 1 if each. They had a 3 draft limit today. Ordering my final one now. Probably going with Mega Radient.
For my money, Revolution has overtaken GI in the barrel aged program. Revolution released the beers/dates for this year’s lineup today. Looks like some absolutely killer stuff coming.
I asked for a dark, heavy beer and this is what I got. Head dissipated before I took the photo.
Definitely sipping only for this one. 10.5% alcohol
Only ship within Estonia though
Was that the imperial baltic porter?
You know your shit
Not entirely true. They distro a little in the states and I had a few of their beers at a now defunct bottle shop called Bruisin Ales in Asheville, NC.
Cool. Only went by their website.
I’ve had that Öö as well. They have (or had) it at the beer store near me. I liked it quite a bit.
What’s everyones non-beer go to when out at low key bars / dive bars?
I’m usually getting a beer at a dive bar but if I had to get something, probably just makers on the rocks, maaaaaybe a V&T or G&T depending on their well if it’s in the summer
