Tennis anyone?

Isn’t one of the Russians a wife beater?

What Russian isn’t brah? There’s literally a saying, “b’yot - znachit lyubit” which means “If he hits you, it means he loves you.”

That’s just awful.

For me it was this

Novaxx freed! If there was ever a time for Novax to embrace his inner Medvedev and feed off the hatred of the Australian people for him, this is it. Lets win this thing Novaxx!

I hope this is a late round opponent for him. The only Karma is for him to have to default due to Omicron

Djokovic’s visa may still be cancelled. The Australian Government are in a difficult position politically here. I imagine at this point they’d rather drop the whole thing and wish none of this had ever happened. But having repeatedly gone out in public and been like “nobody is above the rules”, it’s very provocative that he apparently made false travel declarations, on top of everything else.

Plus he fucking lied about having Covid or he has to admit to being a complete psychopath for intentionally exposing others. Repeatedly.

It’s probably the latter, but who knows.

The maximum penalty for supplying false information on a travel declaration form is a year in jail, btw. Of course he’s not going to get criminally prosecuted, but just as an illustration that this stuff is taken seriously.

I really don’t know what the government is going to do. I think it’s a bit more likely that they let him stay, but I won’t be shocked by either possible decision.

I still thing Omicron before the semis would be chefs kiss.

If they bar him now I’ve read that it’s a mandatory 3 year ban on entering the country. Would be huge for future Australian opens. As a tennis fan, shit, let him play. Going to be great drama.

Yeah. I hope they let him stay. Might get booed by crowds? Probably half-heartedly. I don’t know. This will be the Australian public:

Note: People are saying the timestamp is just from when the report was generated. Dunno about the confirmation number. So there’s a seemingly a plausible explanation for this but still seems suspect given that he may have motive to change the date of this test based on travel date to Spain.

(Translated from web):

Unix timestamps are a standard for representing points in time. The seconds have been counted up at midnight since January 1st, 1970. The current point in time is: 1641903476, about 1.6 billion seconds since the beginning of the “Unix era”.

And this timestamp from the certificate (1640187792) can also be converted to a human-readable point in time; if the test was negative on December 22nd, the timestamp and date in the test certificate match.

For Đoković’s positive PCR test, which according to the court document was evaluated on December 16, the timestamp (1640524880) is from… :drum:… December 26th. Wait, something’s wrong

There is also a “confirmation code” on the test results page. We were able to find more tests and determine that the first part of this code is an ascending test ID and roughly corresponds to the number of PCR tests reported for Serbia at the time.

But with Đoković’s positive PCR test result, there is still something strange: The test ID of the positive test (7371999) from December 16. is greater than the negative test on December 22nd (7320919).

Jesus Novax is a fucking moron

Regardless of whether it’s the 16th or 26th, it doesn’t answer questions about missing the Dec 10th deadline for this particular exemption or why he applied for the same exemption in November without a positive test. Was he planning on getting infected with covid prior to the AO in order to play in it or what exactly?

I thought he got it a long time ago, like months and months ago. Maybe I’m making that up?

edit: Tennis champ Novak Djokovic tests positive for COVID-19, apologizes for holding tournament: 'We were wrong' - ABC News

Yeah, he got it back in June 2020. So maybe that was the basis of his planned exemption application?

Infection had to be within past six months I believe for the alleged exemption he was applying for.

Lies and coverups.

Apparently Novax is saying that the Australian tennis body filled the form out on his behalf.
