I wash my beanies all the time. I usually toss a cap though if it needs washing. It’s never the same again imo.

I’ve ruined a couple of baseball caps by washing them. Now I just wear them until I lose them or become disgusted by them.

I wash beanies but not hats. My less than clean caps get designated to gardening/fishing status.
Nice (like the $50 mlb ones) baseball caps wont get ruined easily. They also can withstand a lot of sweat without getting gross.
What I typically do is rinse the inside frequently with water. This is enough most of the time. I am constantly amazed at how much i can sweat and how decent looking my doyers hat is.
Maybe this belongs in the non-pol hot takes thread but I instantly assume anyone wearing a cap in the gym is a douche

Yeah always makes me wonder: are they really talking to another person at all? A sane person capable enough to hold an important job deciding to conference call from a resort pool and an insane person doing that same setup and interacting with a recorded feed seem equiprobable to me.
I tried that as well, but at least one cap came out permanently creased, although it was not a top quality cap.

People sucking up to and kissing ass I just can’t stand. I had a situation in the workplace once where I was massively paying out on my friends footy team in the break room My friend happened to be quite high up in this large company (we had worked together before, we were quite close friends) and this guy who was at my level told me off for disrespecting my boss! Obviously my mate thought it was hilarious particularly after I told the wanker what he could do with his opinion. Jfc bagging out somebodies football team is disrespectful? you can fuck right off, what a knobhead!
