In USA#1 it’s McDonald’s hamburders for life!
Gonna disagree here.
I mean minimizing panic is a good thing so long as it’s being done by having a plan in place rather than by bullshitting. Having a well-structured plan that delivers a clear and honest message gets people to obey the policies being implemented. Being untrustworthy and so openly full of shit is what leads to some people panic buying toilet paper and others to defy policies that slow the spread.
Aside from an occasional store here and there pre-lockdown, panic buying has not been a thing here. Every time I’ve gone to buy food, there’s been toilet paper in stock. Not a lot of it, but it’s not sold out. Why? Because people aren’t panicking. Despite having a general distrust for the current administration, they are putting their trust in them now and aside from late delivery of medical supplies from China, they’ve been delivering.
He needs to jump in front of the microphone and push Trump down, like he said. Seriously. That might do more good than anything else. Grab the mic and start firing off hot takes until secret service drags him kicking and screaming out of the press room. His days on TV from the white house are numbered.
NBCUniversal CEO has gotten Corona Virus. Hate to see it happen to the head of cable com.
Burger King is doing free delivery on $10+ orders and has a coupon on their site for 2 free kids meals. I doubt I’ll ever order from them (don’t even think there’s one near my house), but that’s a nice little deal for a family.
McFuck
I didn’t know this was a thing. Cast looks surprisingly A-list, including Marilyn Manson as Trashcan Man
Latest from Cuomo. Big increase in testing and new cases.

Thing is that Fauci’s an old man. He isn’t pushing a fat fuck like Trump out of the way. He’d have to blindside him with an elbow to the head. At that point, he gets 1 (maybe two) takes before being dragged off of the stage and thrown into prison. With Steph curry, he gets all the time he needs.
Only a matter of time before he’s on Rogan’s podcast.
I’m sure his building is at least twice as nice as any public housing project, though. Not much room in the budget for amenities or nicer finishes when nobody pays rent.
You can hate on landlords all you want, but most care about providing a quality product to their customers. That requires revenue. They are no more obligated to give you a free place to live than you are to do your job for free.
Yeah, I am incredibly excited for it. Not wild about having to get CBS all-Access, but the cast is superb and it should be excellent.
I think the original miniseries is one of the better adaptations of a King work, and this should be unquestionably better.
New hospitalized? Where do you get this from?
This thing has almost completely turned the corner now and become a purely left vs right issue. Trump achieved what he wanted to.
LMAO
FYP
Does the growth seem to have gone more linear since 3/22?
Seems like it was growing exponentially as the testing was growing exponentially but now the increase is more steady.
Is there anything useful we can infer from these numbers?
New hospitalized will be ~15-20% of new positive cases as per Cuomo (and ROW)
FWIW - this site shows hospitalized. But it lags a bit.
