SARS-CoV-2: Electric Superflu

“Can you believe they canceled the Olympics? How stupid. This whole thing will be over in a couple weeks. Stupid liberal media snowflakes overreacting to everything.”

I don’t think it is correct. He probably did 1.4*10 in his head instead of 1.4^10.

Dick Pound. LOL

Anyone have a resource for cases in Georgia by day? I wanted to look at the curve.

Nevermind, looks like Georgia has basically been doubling every 2 days.

in the video he says 1.3 and 1.4 so if you do 1.3^10 you get just under 14

I was going to say, the only two billionaires I know who have done anything are Ma and Mark Cuban. Cuban is doing a lot in Dallas, especially for healthcare workers.

It is amazing the likes of zuckerberg, gates, bezos, buffet and others have done nothing directly. Almost like they are afraid their billionaire boys club will mock them.

Plus do not forget the most famous Billionaire in the world, Donald J. Trump, what is he doing with his billions?

Huh, I didn’t think you were married.

The thing that will really launch my lawnmower into orbit will be that none of the people saying this will learn a lesson or change their views on anything.

That is a bad look that blazer and shirt, something is off about it.

Bill Gates did an AMA on Reddit last week and basically said the fears about covid are overblown and he expects it to be contained in a fairly short China-like time frame. He did not respond when someone pointed out that we are not doing any of the things China did.

Just in time for trump to send them back to work Wednesday!

Seriously though, people are right. Trump deferred so much of his responsibility to the states that he no longer has any control or authority over what happens so states and local jurisdictions will decide who does what.

I can see Gates not giving a shit. He’s been screaming for years about malaria and no one cares.

I’m not really upset that Trump will have little influence. I understand this was an unintended consequence.

Lots of the rich/ nba who have contracted it seem to be a symptomatic. I think several nba players, Idris, rib cage Paul and others.

To me it is potentially good and bad. Good that maybe a lot of people can get it and not get too sick. Bad that those people can spread it and with the lack of testing we can’t do anything to contain it because we are relying on symptoms.

I’m back off work for 2 weeks and possibly longer. Been pretty indecisive, but too much anxiety. Wanting to watch it play-out for a bit longer, without the threat of death-by-bozo.

Was dispatched to a job yesterday that was being led by an employee of our in-house water restoration division. I pull up, she comes right up to me, 2 or 3 feet away. I said something about wishing to maintain the 6’ of recommended social distancing, and I shit you not she took offense. Skulking away, pouty. lol

fuck these people

turned on cspan to catch the vote totals and saw Manchin in the back ground wipe his nose and mouth with a handkerchief, then with the handkerchief still in his hand touch several desks and chairs and plop right down in a chair next to another senator within a foot or so of him…

we’re all dead and we deserve it.

Good news, my health insurer will now give me a virtual assessment on whether I should actually be tested for COVID. First virtual assessment free, any other “am I going to die” sessions will be $20/per. Note that none of this actually tests anything or guarantees I will be tested if they recommend testing.

This is fine.
