Voted in a church a few blocks away from home in Reno the first year we moved here, then at a local park building the last 34 years. Might have missed one off year election a decade or so ago, but I think we were out of the country and didn’t care, because no one in my districts in any of the local races are EVER going to lose.

Man this seems really bad. Looks like Covid has prob been running rampant in NYC for over a month. The only other explanation would be that the news of the virus made people worried and a lot of people went to the hospital for respiratory illness they wouldn’t have otherwise if there was no worry about it.
And the percent that do is going to depend a lot on criteria for getting tested.
It should neuter most of the ire.
That might be because so far we’ve only tested the NBA.
