How is that gaslighting? Iām not saying that the mod whiners donāt exist. Iām even accepting j manās premise that most people dgaf about their complaints and find it annoying. But by the same token, how many people care about j manās mod rights activism? Iām thinking not a lot.
The gaslighting is saying that people complaining about complainers should stfu because they should be the change they want to see. Do they not have a fair complaint? If other people can complain, itās a perfectly valid counter-complaint to make at this point.
Jman is trying to limit moderation complaints! Something has to be done about all these whiny superfluous posts that the community doesnāt care about, he says. Well, if he really believes that, maybe he should limit his deluge of whiny posts that I doubt the community really cares about.

Because what should be obvious to you by now is that the people who think that things are fine tend not to chime in, so the people posting in ATF are not at all representative of forum sentiment. There arenāt people to tell the complainers to settle down, and those that are there are not respected by the complainers. There is no check on someone waging a years long campaign over their own grief no matter how many people say that the 24 hr ban that led to this was justified.

Well, part of hte problem is that tehreās no actual āsideā on my āsideā because I donāt have 5 friends who follow me around to complain every time I get banned, but other notable recent bans that did not involve a 300 post thread complaining about it would include, for example, goofyballer.
lol goofballer agreed to his ban beforehand, no way wookie would have just banned him absent that.

That was goofyballerās second recent ban. He was also banned by the other new mod recently. (Pocketchads? I always get him confused with riskyflush) The reason you probably donāt remember that is because it didnāt generate a 300 post jalfreziesque whine-thread, because whining about a 12 hour time-out is really silly.
