You know what I just realized the most triggering aspect of Q morons, and it’s a trait they almost all share, is the smug, arrogant tone in which they peddle their shit. Like, a normal person would probably preface some of this wild shit with “i know it sounds crazy, like straight out of a B movie plot, but just listen…”
But no, it was just smarmy and condescending lunacy the entire way. I won’t be sad to see it go, even though (thankfully) I’ve not had to deal with many of these types in my online travels. There are a few I suspect, but they are closeted about it if they are actually Qanon cultists.
Good riddance. Seems like it’ll probably lose steam after today. I don’t doubt there will be holdouts but the whole nightmare scenario of the GOP turning into the party of Qanon does not seem like it has even a remote chance.

My theory is that given Trump’s election was widely considered a massive upset that by and large conservatives considered themselves geniuses for having faith/betting the winner etc. If Trump had won a 50/50 election maybe it isn’t as overwhelming, though would still be immensely tilting to witness.

I don’t imagine I can actually predict what will happen but I’d guess that Qanon, to the extent that it remains a movement, loses its political valence and becomes just another flavour of your standard New World Order/lizard people conspiracies about the ruling class, blended with the sex trafficking moral panic. Without Trump in office there’s not really any connection to politics, like they’re hardly going to switch to Mitch McConnell being the one to execute The Storm. I don’t think Q is posting anymore. Minus Q and Trump the conspiracy is just “the elite are a cabal of Satanists who abuse children” which is the sort of thing that has been around for decades.

Originally it was one maybe two posters controlling it but around the election they stopped posting and haven’t since. Everything else since has been akin to people reading the Bible and trying to predict the end of the world.

Him and his friends are roid raging morons too so I couldn’t do threats of violence without actually getting into scraps somehow and we know zero people that I trust that he would trust to escrow. Would be a pain to collect and not sure if worth the hassle. Fairly successful person too. Complete moron though.
