I donāt think itāll happen but Biden should absolutely, positively drop out after this. This is so bad that I think there will be some real movement toward Trump in the polls. And a fair number of Biden leaners will lose enthusiasm and stay home.
Also, running Mayor Pete or Newsom this late would have the advantage of less time to villainize them. Someone fresh and relatively unknown could be very appealing in this environment.
