Welp, they just said it on ABC too. Maybe the Harris campaign HAS said it. It can still fall apart over negotiating terms, etc., but I think it’s a negative freeroll if it actually goes ahead.
It’s truly incredible that the Trump Campaign is being run by the most terminally online whackos that exist.

Why make a decision before but announce it after
I wouldn’t offer another one, nor would I agree to one if he asked first. Say the debate made it clear he is unfit and unserious and you need to make time to focus on getting to work for the American people. The end. Shit maybe even put out a press release wondering if they will replace him after that performance.

Could she dangle the debate in front of Fox News without making final agreement on terms to get them to be less unfavorable in their coverage? like not quid pro quo explicitly but just leave them knowing they’re in a negotiation for a few weeks.

I was hoping for even better, but I’m not disappointed.
Sounds like I missed her best parts, though.
I don’t buy it. If there’s a Fox News angle, it would be that Trump will demand it and they can just mock him for demanding a safe space and then say “never mind.” There should be no such dangling of the possibility.

There’s no way it’s bad strategy to offer another debate. She has a huge edge and the race is tied or she’s losing by a little. She’s not going to fold her way to victory.
