You do not know what a good faith argument is
A good faith argument in trans issues would require
- Educating yourself on the basics of tran issues before having a really strong opinion
- Asking questions before making strong statements
- Fairly representing your sources
- Going out of your way to learn from people who are better informed than you
- Going out of your way to learn from people who have lived experience that will help answer some of the questions you have
- Reading what people actually say in response to you and updating your positions based on this
- Not making ludicrous straw man attacks on entire groups of people based on stuff you entirely imagined
This fucking attitude of “I’m just arguing in good faith”. It’s not only a bad argument and tone deaf, it’s not even true. It demonstrates actual real stupidity. You do not understand the discussion here. It shows.
What you actually want is to be able to pile into a thread about trans people without a modicum of restraint, thought, care, or respect and call trans people a “social contagion” without being called a bigot.
