doesn’t seem to be very much interesting content tonight. are there less protestors today than other days? things winding down?
I think there is less unrest, and the protesters that are trying to be peaceful go inside when the cops fuck them up. I suspect they’ll be out in force again tomorrow.
I also think the cops are doing a better job of chasing cameras away.

tonight I’ve seen a youtube channel operator got arrested, a hit and run that turned into a police chase and a molly thrown on the riot red zone channel (woke) on twitch. It’s just portland’s been on there all night and that’s the equivalent of yet another Bills FG attempt shown from a boring Jets Bills game.

Yeah this is going to be a thing too. If they’ll beat the shit out of innocent protesters, if they’ll break into people’s houses who are giving safe harbor to protesters, if they’ll put the military in US cities, if they’ll shoot at journalists, why the fuck won’t they just hold a bunch of protesters indefinitely with no Constitutional rights?

Nationwide curfews have really dampened things. I was in downtown Atlanta around 7pm and there were massive marches, but an unbelievable military display as well. Even with as many videos I’ve seen of all this it was still disturbing to see what would look like a child to be the actual army being deployed in an American city.
imo we should respond with new strategies:
- Set rally points around the city for when the police break you into smaller groups.
- Establish smaller satellite protests in different neighborhoods. Give the police too many key points to defend and put protests closer to more people (public transport is difficult right now).
- Spread misinformation about looting in other neighborhoods on social media and irl and try to get it into the police communications.
The police CAN be worn down. They can’t do this forever.
