Well as much as you don’t want to do it, you should just call Ally. I have had good experiences with their CS. Moreover, if something got fucked up, you are just going to spend even more time and phone calls later unfucking it up. Might as well just bite the bullet and make sure everything is set up properly.
was reading about a random apartment complex in brooklyn. seems like rent is back to being too damn high.
Magnolia DUMBO is currently offering one free month on a 12-month lease, 1.5 months free on an 18-month lease, and two months free on a 24-month lease. Prices are as follows: $3,800 for studios; $3,900 for junior one-bedrooms; $4,880 for one-bedrooms; and $7,100 for two-bedroom residences.
no thanks
$3,800 for a studio? … I’ve lived in big cities and paid plenty of rent, but holy shit
The free rent thing is just a trick that helps the developer when they go to refinance, you (obviously) just pay 9% more for all the other months.
This one is about a mile away and is a palace comparatively for the same price

Spacious maybe but interior decor is ugly as hell.
beauty, beholder, etc.
Just refinanced with better.com and I can say that they have really leveraged technology to make the process super smooth.
There’s a task list to complete and you submit all documents through the website links. Think I had one 2 minute phone conversion through the whole process.
Highly recommended.
Yeah I had a similar experience and you can get up to $6k as a statement credit with an Amex. The company generally is apparently a train wreck but from the customer side I loved it.
3k quote to remove half dead very (apparently) emerald-ash-bored-out large tree in backyard sound right?
Or get a couple of Rednecks, a case of Bud, and a chainsaw.
Damn. Think I missed out on the $2k amex bonus
Its at least 2x the height of my house and 20 feet from it so I’ll pass I think
Yup.
2-3k about right for a tree removal around here depending on complexity and if you want to keep the wood or have it hauled away.
Which is cheaper?
keeping is cheaper, having to haul away the wood has a cost. Infected ash isn’t worth anything but makes great (usually already seasoned) firewood as the tree has likely been dead for a while. Unless you have a walnut or something the wood probably isn’t worth anything.
Will they chop it up into firewood sized pieces? Or at least small logs?
Offer it to Madison Cawthorn for his next tree-punching video, charge him $3K. Take said $3K and pay the tree removal guys to make it fall on Cawthorn while he’s punching it, then remove it as planned.
Record the video yourself, put it on YouTube. Use the ad revenue to pay your legal fees.
