This just forced me to imagine Riverman on a cruise eating dinner with a table full of boomers from The Villages. It was hilarious.
Not 24 hours, usually 7AM to 11PM or something like that. Some ships keep the buffet open for dinner, some donāt. Most guests do not use the buffet for dinner when thatās an option. I think most large ships have complimentary room service, though I never used it.
Iāve gone around the world on one and some of it was really great, but I do strongly advise skipping the ocean crossings. Spending a week+ on a working ship without amenities (or stabilizers) is not very exciting, and often nausea inducing.
Both halves look nice, the many day journey between them not so much.
Wait, traveling on cargo ships is a real thing? I thought you were just making a joke.
Yup, though typically not more than a dozen passengers.
Yes, itās a real thing. I did it about 10 years ago. This is who I booked through:
First half is nice in theory, but Iāve seen all of those cities plenty already (except for Norfolk). Iād just fly down and do the second half.
Yeah I did a Disney cruise with my brother and sisters family right before COVID started and I had a blast. They definitely kept all the kids from 1 to 14 happy with activities all day for them. They had sitdown meals or buffets. Or could always just order rom service and chill in the room. I 've heard most normal cruises are twice as crowded though which would suck. Also sharing a table, wtf?
Royal Family seems nice.

Not sure how concerned they are about Prince Andrew being a pedophile.
Royal Family has always been a ridiculous idea. Never understood why people care or even respect them and never will.
Theyāre a little concerned, he is apparently not invited to the Queenās next birthday.
Really? How did that get out?
There might not be a next one. She isnāt quite Phillip but sheās as old as the paintings she keeps away from the people who pay for them.
I watched like 20 minutes of this and then tapped out. nfi why anyone cares in the slightest about this nonsense.
Feel like some of yāall talk about hating cruises a little too much. Iām sure a few of ya are less than a decade from winning shuffleboard tournaments
How is it for forced isolation to give me no other choice but to work on some project on a laptop?
Some people view cruises as having an almost completely deplorable fanbase, so like to shit all over it the way some people like to shit all over NASCAR.
