I don’t eat sweets now but make an exception for licorice - although I’d have difficulty deciding which version I like the most.
are all more than exceptable.
Sweetcorn was the only thing I really hated as a kid - don’t mind it now.

Many people have palates that are adjusted to sweet food. Someone who regularly eats grocery store bread with corn syrup in it might find sour dough bread to taste weird.
liver and asparagus - natures abominations
It’s odd that souerdough is singled out and not rye or pumpernickel.
I’m at 8, but I’ve recently tried to stop eating red meat so really it’s more of a 6.
White chocolate isn’t horrible, but why?
I like all chocolates I don’t discriminate. I recently tried some if the white chocolate reese’s peanut butter cups and they are pretty good especially if you mix it with a regular or dark chocolate one.
Conversely, white chocolate is (both figuratively and literally) one of the most vanilla confections. It may nor be your preference, but why would you earmark it as a food you would never eat?
The only reason I have 2 from that list is because I’m allergic to crab and shrimp, and that pisses me off because I love crab.
I struggle to understand how a grown ass adult can have a long list of foods they won’t eat.
I wouldn’t say it’s bad in an absolute sense, but actual chocolate is so much better, and there are essentially zero situations where I can have white chocolate but not real chocolate. it’s gross by comparison.
You may be right. I rarely eat blue cheese or liver, but if I’m hungry enough I’ll eat them.
Liver is in the same category as cow tongue, at least to me. I’m never going to cook it myself. But when my friend’s mom visits who is a 5 foot nothing, 80 year old from mexico, and makes cow tongue and home made tortillas. I’m cancelling plans and heading over for the feast.
I don’t know about this. Tongue is a muscle, so sliced tongue is like roast beef. Liver is an organ, and it has a strong taste as well as a texture like firm tofu.
Only oysters for me. Can’t believe my toddlers have more refined palates than many of you. They haven’t had oysters, snails, tea, or coffee, I’m not sure if they’ve had beets or canned tuna, one girl doesn’t like lettuce, and they have enjoyed everything else, usually on multiple occasions.
roasted beets are delicious. i’ve tried snail, but most likely not having it at next opportunity. don’t really like liver either, but i could eat it. not eating mushrooms though. blue cheese >>> ranch, although i suppose i’d have it if there was nothing else.
I love liver, but I’m always nervous about cooking it properly.
Why would someone cut open a dildo?
It is literally called bitter melon or bitter gourd. You can probably find it on the menu of a real (non-Americanized) Chinese restaurant.

It’s really bad raw in a salad.
