I enjoyed this…

the charismatic Prime Minister, whose international stock has now rallied to near pre-genocide heights.

The free speech crowd wants to force people to say a pledge lolol nice, ok

can’t blow the snow off with wind if you’re not moving imo

This seems huge? Banning the BBC sounds like a pretty aggressive move.

I can confirm it went up some time after 2am last night, anyway. First half hour of episode one is pretty good, gonna binge it I think.

No_one cares here anymore, we’re officially worse than trumpers now…

The Torys have the beeb running for cover nowadays and no doubt this will be used to further aline us with China while the press reports differently.

We’re also a third country after Brexit, what pull do we have but begging bowls.

At a staff meeting in July, Ramsey railed at his staff after an employee sued Ramsey Solutions for firing her for having premarital sex, which is against company policy, and said he would pay the price to protect what he had built out of love for his employees.

“I am sick of dealing with all this stuff,” Ramsey bellowed, according to a recording obtained by Religion News Service. “I’m so tired of being falsely accused of being a jerk when all I’m doing is trying to help people stay in line.”

In a sarcastic email responding to a request for comment on this story, Ramsey Solutions wrote, “We want to confirm for you that you are right, we are horrible evil people.”

As one of the responses pointed out, the guy tells people to have a thousand dollar emergency fund. What if you could give an emergency fund to everyone?

9/10ths of these Christian tough love guys are just various ways to sh*t on poor people so the people who made the climb get to pat themselves on the back

Pretty sure Ramsey filed personal bankruptcy at some point, just every single time with these assholes.

And “the climb” is some fantasy they invented about their lives as middle class white dudes being a struggle because they had to save up to buy something one time.

Anyone who legitimately made the climb should have a lot of empathy for the poor. Being poor sucks. A lot of these alleged bootstrappers didnt have it hard at all.

Like honestly fuck that guy, I’ve had times where $100 meant the difference between being able to eat or not for the last week of a pay period. Idiot.

$1400 is literally life changing money for a huge % of the working poor.

How dare you denigrate my multi-year struggle to become debt-free by living in my grandmother’s carriage house while renting out the house my parents bought for me!

Success doesn’t come without sacrifice.

Yup.

I went a whole weekend once just on some left over bits of food, before pay day on Monday.

Although my total cash worth was at £0.00 because we’d pooled all the coins we had on Friday night in the pub for one last round.

Yup. But even so, a global pandemic is not, like, a failure of personal responsibility.

Well, sorta, but there are most definitely a whole lot of failings of personal responsibility nonetheless.
