IMO it’s only fusion if there are individual dishes that combine elements from different cuisines.
They opened 3 credit cards in your name without telling you?
I had issues with Wells Fargo too. It was way back when I manually balanced my checking account and found an error on their part of ~$10 I think. When I pointed it out they refused to acknowledge it. This pissed me off so I ended up printing shit out and marking amounts in red ink then snail mailing it to them. They fixed it but not before I decided to quit them. Except for the CC. I still have that.
I know folks have been focusing on the stock market for the last couple of days. Meanwhile, it seems the bottom has dropped out of the stork market:
Wells fargo roped me into a $100 deposit which wasted away to a negative balance because of inactivity fees, and then they threatened to sic collections on me. I never dealt with it and the problem just went away.
People HATE bank of america - but as someone who has used them for ~15 years I’ve honestly loved it. I’ve had serious fraud issues, they reimbursed me. A bunch of overdraft fees that piled up one time on some small charges? They reversed them because I told them I couldn’t afford it and didn’t know my check hadn’t gone through yet.
I’ve had great experiences with their mortgage department and I really like their cash back credit card, which gives you a 10% bonus on rewards if you deposit them back into your checking or savings.
I’ve also had good experiences with their financial advisors. But like, people have all these horror stories about them and just generally despise the bank. I don’t get it - my experience has been great. I like their online banking site too.
Can’t say I’m surprised.
Student loans, minimal job security, shitty pay for the jobs that do exist, rents and housing prices skyrocketing. None of these are conducive to young people having kids.
On top of this, just general concern about the pandemic. Pregnancy = lots of visits to doctors offices. Plus not knowing if/how covid affects pregnancy or the unborn, plus not knowing if/how the vaccine affects the mom/unborn.
I’m at a gymnastics meet (distancing pretty well - it’s a huge place and they limit attendance) and there’s a competitor named GREEAR.
What exactly is “Canadian Food”?
All I can think of is poutine.
I’ve heard most of those are actually owned by Koreans. No idea if it’s true. It’s just something a friend told me.
I refinanced with WF a long time ago and it was smooth AF.
Kraft Dinner and Timbits.
Calling poutine Canadian is risky.
I guess foods with Canadian names would probably be better, but it would make for a wordy sign.
Maybe in Canada. I’d be more careful if I was there. In USA #47, I think I’m OK.
That’s actually new to me. I’d never heard of it.
Still, I find it hard to believe that restaurant serves Chinese food, poutine, and rappie pie.
Unless that place is in Nova Scotia, it’s almost 100% they are not serving it.
I see Chinese Food + sushi places every now and then in LA - I steer well clear.
