Good pick. That was during the Lois and Clark TV series years. Then Desperate Housewives for years and years. Teri Hatcher was a hyooge star.
Ping the next drafter people, @TrueNorth32 up
The ultimate âshow about nothingâ:
Season 3, Episode 6: The Parking Garage
Just four people wandering around a parking garage all day, looking for their car. Thatâs it. Thatâs the show. And it was just genius â the initial premise is universally relatable, but the writers pack so much wacky stuff in that itâs also wildly entertaining:
-
Kramer convincing both Jerry and George to pee in the garage, getting both of them caught by the same security guard;
-
Jerry trying to convince the guy he has a deadly disease (âIâve been issued a public urination pass by the city!â):
-
Elaine worrying about the survival of the goldfish she bought;
-
George worrying about standing his parents up for dinner (and never hearing the end of it);
-
Kramer trying to carry the huge air conditioner he bought while looking for the car;
-
Various misadventures trying to get strangers to help them find their car;
-
Leaving the air conditioner in an empty spot and not remembering where it was (much like the car), so when they find the car, theyâre STILL stuck waiting for Kramer to come back with it;
-
And the piece de resistance: When they finally get everyone and everything in the carâŚthe thing wonât start. (Not planned â they were supposed to just get in and drive away, but the car actually wouldnât start. You can see everyone cracking up in the car in the final scene.)
Plus one of my favourite George lines:
Draft so far:
- The Marine Biologist
- The Switch
- The Parking Garage
@MattyLice is up.
Amazing to be halfway through and there are still so many good episodes.
For our traditional sixth round spite picks, everyone will select one episode they HATE.
GEORGE (TO JERRY, SOMEWHAT IMPRESSED) A Red Chinese prison?
I love this episode so much.
No 1 still on the board, though, getting ridiculous.
This needs to expand beyond five rounds
Ten?
Iâd have to do more reminiscing to fill out my list to go ten. But itâs doable.
I havenât watched Seinfeld in a while but I think Iâm going to watch in the order they are drafted here.
Letâs meet halfway and say seven rounds with a bonus spite round where you may either choose your least favorite Seinfeld episode or thrash someone elseâs selection from the draft.
Failure to do either will invalidate your picks.
One of the best qualities of this show is Jerry simply doesnât care. So what happens when he gets angry and his girlfriend dumps him?
The Serenity Now.
This episode has it all.
My picks
The Hamptons
The Limo
The Serenity Now
Nice, I was thinking about taking that episode. HOOCHIE MOMMA! Gonna have to do some research for my next pick because my memory is starting to fail me.
Stunned UNDRAFTED has gone through three rounds and still not been selected. A worse tragedy than Soup Nazi going so late.
If you and pyatnitski are both talking about the episode I think you are, I think itâs a really polarizing episode in terms of how people rate it. Iâve seen it as high as #1 on some lists where others donât even consider it a good episode.
Ok I just looked at Vultureâs rankings of every episode ever and Iâm completely overwhelmed, there are so many good episodes that I have no clue which to choose. Iâll just go with a personal favorite in âThe Napâ, where George discovers the joy of napping under his desk at work while Kramer takes up swimming in the East River. In the interesting of moving things along Iâll write it up a little more later. @beetlejuice is up
- The Chicken Roaster
- The Comeback
- The Nap
Whoâs up? @RiskyFlush can we get an updated board? Or are you all up in the club where the shorties be at?
No, you are thinking of Undrafted, while I am talking about the clearly superior Undrafted. I used to think the same thing.
Undrafted, which is what Iâm talking about, is better than undrafted, undrafted, undrafted and undrafted. Just to clear things up.
Also, the real tragedy is that Seinfeld isnât on amazon prime here any more, so if I wanted to watch it at the moment Iâd need to remember how those DVD things on my shelf work. Anyone any ideas?
