Yeah, my kids are out of school through Friday, but I’d imagine a lot of people who wanted to see the game were planning to work Friday. That’ll be pretty dicey unless the game is played in the early afternoon.
It’s an 8:45pm kickoff.
They need to be 100% sure the attack wasn’t part of something larger. It definitely appears it wasn’t, but I can understand them wanting more than a few hours.

this seems weird, if you’re planning on popping off a bunch of bombs why would you start off by plowing into a crowd with a truck without setting them off immediately? Something is missing here.
Classically it’s to blow them after the shooting gathers emergency services in the area.
