Weird I saw some Reddit detective outlining the play they thought he hurt it on.
Probably like when rangers pitcher Charlie Hough sliced open his pitching hand with a butter knife while buttering a roll.
Yeah everyone thought they identified the play but I guess not. Possible he came into that game with the injury. If it were some sort of innocent accident I feel like they’d say what happened; declining to comment makes it seem like something they don’t want to put Mitch in a tough spot by revealing.

I just saw something that said it was his right pinky. The left one was the one we saw during the game. They said he already had surgery and plans on wearing a brace in game 1.
I froze on those two behind the coach at one point and laughed. My wife asked what was wrong with me. I then observed that she makes poor choices.
Stopping wasn’t titillation for me but rather observing that NBC was stuck showing them over and over.
Apparently they are both only fan models who have gotten a lot of play because of their appearance during the game. Guess it was a good marketing move.
