National Basketball Association - 2025/2026 Season

Ajay Mitchell looks great on OKC. Impressive 2nd round pickup.

Yeah I have seen three okc games this year and he looked good in all of them.

Why? That seems very stupid.

Cause it made players not take them. And now they do, which is fun.

maybe i’m an old man but i don’t think players should need to be incentivized to take shots that help their team win. imagine an NFL qb refusing to throw a hail mary at the end of the half because it could result in an interception, would the right move be for the NFL to start changing their rules or just point and laugh and the player for being dumb?

It’s more fun to laugh at the cowards who don’t take the shot.

It is what it is. Players get paid according to their stats. Its a victimless rule change that makes the game slightly more fun to watch unless youre nbz

In a perfect world I agree but players have statistical incentives in contracts that can depend on fg% and efficiency. Guys like Steph would always shoot those shots but a lot of guys either didn’t shoot or waited until after the clock expired to shoot.

Besides the shot shared here I have seen several really close heaves this year. The shots still count against the team, they just don’t count against the player.

Maybe teams should not write contracts that have these incentives that can cost their team a win.

The raptors only got 20 rebounds last night versus the spurs. 20-44.

lol sixers are 4-0 with embiid playing on a 20 min limit (and already missed one game). Not the toughest schedule so far but Maxey is balling out of control.

Can’t keep falling behind and expect To win.

also ive never seen an NBA game start at 11 PM ET.

SGA said night night.

The league MVP has 6 free throws in his last 11 quarters

2 from intentional fouls
2 from and-1s
2 from a non shooting foul off ball in the bonus.

Thank god he doesn’t get Austin Reave’s whistle.

He gets 2.99 steps from the point that he puts both hands on the ball.
