I would guess haliburton made the knicks list now over trae but yeah if ben simmons wasn’t the 76ers I would’ve immediately called bs, and he hasn’t been there in over 3 years. Going to take multiple playoff losses to the same superstar to get rid of that anytime soon.

The main answer is back then most players had 4 years of college, most only have one now. Coupled with gm’s having less time before they are fired equals YOLO. That and the sacto kings get to draft every year.

i mean, the magic have a pretty nice starting 5 now. but at some point, one of these ~average teams that sends out 4-5 years of first round picks is gonna run bad and be historically fucked.

like if milwaukee lost giannis for nothing, wtf do they do for the next half-decade with no picks?

brooklyn was close but made some pretty good moves to avoid catastrophe. at some point we’re gonna have a team move or something bc they’re the worst team in the league AND are sending their picks away for 5 years…
