National Basketball Association - 2025/2026 Season

Also a true wing which they were sorely lacking. Levert has been especially awful since returning from injury and Niang is unplayable against good teams. Big salary dump for CLE too that gets them under the tax and opens a spot to sign a buyout. I thought for sure it’d cost them at least one of a 1st, Tyson, Okoro.

Mavs (no ad) blowing out Celtics in Boston wire to wire.

Standard Celtics shitter against a team missing multiple starters, but they will kill you when you’re 100% healthy, especially on the road.

lol Celtics scrubs on 19-3 run making it a game

i love kd’s twitter game

Celtics definitely seem like a team that is going to coast through the regular season and turn it on in the playoffs (and they are still really good in the regular season).

pretty much the reason the cavs traded for hunter is the celtics.

Rumors the Cavs are going after Ben Simmons in the buyout market. Trade for Hunter was 10/10 but not sure about this.

so much promise and he’s just a role player who nobody actually wants in the locker room

dennis schroder recently signed a lease in SF thinking he’d stay there

he’s been traded 6 times now

the guy who turned down 4/84 from the lakers and ended up with 1/5.6 thinks he wouldn’t get traded after getting traded a bunch in his career.

ty jerome and hunter were virginia cavs that lost to UMBC and won the title the next season now cleveland cavs

in 2023 he was the world championship MVP and let Germany to their first title ever. Beating a US team in the SF that had Ant, Brunson, Haliburton, JJJ, Banchero and Bridges. Not top of the line but should have beaten Germany easily.

Not the best year and a half since.

Hunter was injured and didn’t play in the UMBC game, but your painful/glorious point still stands.

how the heck did the Bulls not do anything else this trade deadline

warriors offer for vuc couldn’t have been so bad to say no I can’t imagine, they traded for butler and paid him

patrick williams should’ve gone for a basketball

they got a bunch of veterans on a team that isn’t trying to win what are you doing the thunder would’ve gotten 10 2nd rounders somehow out of all those off the bench guys you just acquired

they asked the gm and he said next 30 games about 10 times in the presser, just non stop got his notes trying to make the playin

like every year, just trying to make the playin

i read that sentence in some variation every single year for the past decade

Bulls VP Arturas Karnisovas: “There’s different structures that you can try to get to a championship. There’s 2-3 star players and then a lot of role players or you can build it as 9-10 very good players.” He says they’re building toward the latter model.

The bulls are building a model for the 04 pistons I guess? The outlier among every title team in at least 35 years of the NBA. facepalm (ben wallace then was still better than anyone the bulls currently have)

and that’s why the bulls play four point guards who can only pass the ball on the floor at once

and paid 90 million for a tweener who wasn’t good enough to get that contract in the first place

The problem with 9-10 good players is they will cost 20-35 million each. You would need rookies to supplement them, but good luck getting really good rookies when your other players are making you a 6-9 seed.

Bulls should probably worry about getting 1 very good player first

Pritchard w a little unsportsmanlike stat padding at end of game. With like 11 seconds left in a 10 point game the mavs eat the shot clock to end the game. Pritchard takes the ball coast to coast for two and then tries to steal the inbound with .2 seconds left.
