National Basketball Association - 2023/24 Season

I’m glad league pass has this free trial week because what I’ve seen so far, on a tablet and at home on a TV, it’s unwatchable. Error messages every 2-3 minutes, more than half the time it plays the games the resolution is atrocious. I just had my internet updated here too.

Malcolm Brogdon looks so much like clean-cut Andre Miller out there it’s weirding me out, even has his posture

jordan poole is something

Philly going to miss pj tucker’s cardio.

All expiring contracts. Sixers get two 1s plus a pick swap. Probably cut a couple and keep a couple of the acquisitions as depth.

Considering what Harden can deliver at this age and how he is absolutely poison, that’s fantastic.

I thought it’s a fine return, too. Getting off Tucker’s money next year is nice.

Best part is the ball is Maxey’s.

I collected basketball cards as a kid, and there was a “Thunder and Lightning” subset that had teammates on opposite sides of the cards - one Thunder big man and a Lightning guard. For Philly it was Shawn Bradley and Jeff Hornacek.

Feel like Embiid and Maxey are a bit more apt.

so is this Process 2.0 or are they actually trying to win this year?

They could easily be a better team without Harden, so it’s definitely win now. Probably need to move a few picks for some more depth, but offense could be better (or at least not that much worse) with Maxey running it and defense obviously should be improved.

I’m thinking the Clippers get a maximum of 15 games with all of their “big 4” healthy.

The Sixers don’t want Powell.

For every good game Harden had last year he had a bad one. Dude wants 60m a year and hes probably worth 25% of that.

They need to pick up someone significant at the trade deadline for this year. MIL and BOS tough to get through as is.

depends on the effort Harden puts in, sixers hands were a bit tied when he was in lol no mode. He can be a liability at times though, westbrook/harden/george/leonard/zubac 2012 OKC but not as good and it’s 2023…?

Like all the effort he’s put in at playoff crunch time? He mailed in a couple of elimination games in Houston for sure.
